The Netflix series Money Heist features André De Fonollosa, better known as Berlin (Money Heist), played by Pedro Alonso. A second-in-command during the heist of the Royal Mint of Spain, he also planned the heist of the Bank of Spain years earlier with The Professor and Palermo.

It is unknown how Berlin lived his early years. A woman who had a relationship with his mother gave birth to the professor, his half-brother. The series began with him being diagnosed with Helmer’s Myopathy.

At the end of part 2, Berlin sacrifices himself so that the gang can escape, dying as a result of police fire. The third part of the movie shows him in flashbacks several years earlier, when he was planning the Bank of Spain heist and married to a woman named Tatiana.
